Achill is one of the ‘must-see’ destinations on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, the 2500km route along Ireland’s western coast from Donegal in the north to Cork in the south. Achill Island will have four ‘discovery points’ at Keem Bay, Keel Strand, Ashleam Bay and Dugort. The island of Inishbiggle provides another local discovery point and the Curraun Peninsula has a further two.

Achill Island features prominently in the official video to launch Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. Scroll down for still images of Achill taken from the video, and click the images to view it on You Tube.
