SUPPORTS FROM FAILTE IRELAND
We advise all members to check the COVID-19 Support Hub provided by Fáilte Ireland for webinars, documents, information and links regarding how COVID-19 is affecting Ireland’s hospitality industry and the supports available.
The latest update (8th June) features New business supports launched to prepare businesses to re-open and includes information on financial recovery supports, tools to optimise operational performance, and HR for re-opening supports.
The Hub includes specific support sections with re-opening supports for different tourism business types:
- Hotels & Guesthouses

SUPPORTS FROM MAYO LOCAL ENTERPRISE OFFICE
Your Local Enterprise Office has a number of supports available to businesses during COVID-19, including Business Continuity Vouchers (up to €2,500) and Trading Online Vouchers (also up to €2,500). The online trading vouchers may apply to accommodation businesses seeking to add an online booking engine to their websites, for example. It is worth noting that the criteria for this scheme has been amended so that previous recipients can apply for a second time ‘where upgrades are required’ and also the previous requirement for a 50/50 matched funding has been replaced with a 10% contribution from the business up to a maximum €250 (to secure the maximum grant of €2,500).
