15th June: Sandcastle Festival

1st – 5th July: GAA Cúl Camp
Annual summer training camp for children aged 6 to 13 years, at Achill GAA pitch in Polranny. Details and online booking at kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie.

4th July: Hidden Wildlife of the Deserted Village
Walk & talk at the Deserted Village, Slievemore, with NPWS Conservation Ranger Leonard Floyd.

4th – 8th July: Toolis Family Reunion
Four days of events including a gala dinner on Sunday 7th. Full Details.

6th July: Achill Half Marathon & 10K
Annual Half Marathon & 10K Run takes place on Saturday 6th July 2019.

6th – 7th July: Painting Workshop
Ó Dálaigh School of Painting hosts a weekend art workshop with lessons in painting.

8th – 12th July: Summer Activity Camp
Achill Outdoor Education Centre hosts a summer camp for children aged 7 years and upwards. Surfing, kayaking, canoeing, archery, indoor rockclimbing and more.

8th – 12th July: FAI SportsDirect Summer Soccer School
Achill Rovers hosts at Fr. O’Brien Park, Dugort. Details & Booking.

12th – 14th July: Dooagh Day Festival

21st July: Mayo Kite Festival
3rd year of this very popular kite festival on Keel beach.

23rd July: Talk on the Basking Shark
By the Irish Basking Shark Project. Venue: Achill Sound Library, Achill Sound.

20th – 21st July: Achill Goes Country
