This new self-guided tour takes you on a journey through the history of salt across the world and in Ireland, the revival of salt-making on Achill, and what makes Achill Island Sea Salt so unique today.
Through immersive and interactive exhibits, learn about the salt’s place in our history, heritage and culture along with how we make Achill Island Sea Salt. You’ll also have the opportunity to taste our award winning products.
Tour Prices:
Adults €9 | Under- 16s: Free (max two children per paying adult) | Additional child: €5
Tickets can be purchased on-site, advanced booking not required.
Tour time: 20-30 mins.
