Aiden Masterson BE. of Masterson Design is a qualified Civil Engineer and is a competent Passive House Designer, Assigned certifier and BER assesor.

With wide experience in the design and management of a range of building types and as a fully qualified and chartered engineers, we offer a professional service in Design services for all building projects, backed up with over 15 years experience and the assurance of Engineers Ireland accreditation.

We are also qualified Building Surveyors, Land Surveyours , Fire safety Consultants and residential design Health & Safety Consultants PSDP.

We design high quality, innovative & sustainable buildings, and a strong emphasis on the creation of buildings with a sense of place, appropriate to their site & context.

• PLANNING AND DESIGN – With over 15 years designing and acquiring planning permission, we have in depth knowledge of planning requirements and a site specific sensitivity developed in the practice. Masterson design listen closely to our clients to assess what their requirements are and work with the client to achieve our joint goals. We design and prepare planning applications for a range of project types from existing house reconstructions and extensions, one off housing, community projects, Sports fields, residential schemes, industrial and commercial developments.
• LAND SURVEYING AND MAPPING – Experienced in surveying, setting out and land registry mapping . We offer services to our clients from boundary surveying, levelling, total station surveying and GPS on advanced software which can produce speedy and accurate results. We prepare digital maps for land transfers and present solutions for boundary rectification throughout the mayo Area

• PROJECT MANAGEMENT & BUILDING CONTROL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM – Aiden Masterson BE is a registered Assigned Certifiers in accordance with the Building Control (Amendment) Act 2012. We provide a full Building Control Compliance service including the preparation of Construction Drawings and structural calculations as well as submission of Commencement Notice Applications to your Local Authority. The new Building Regulations came into force in March 2014 requiring new builds and extensions to be certified by a registered professional prior to construction (design) and following completion We provide advice on all aspects of Building Control including disability access, fire safety, conservation of fuel & energy, etc. on all types & sizes of projects from loft conversions or extensions to new build housing and commercial developments. Successful project management combines experience and leadership skills. We have combined experience of managing thousands of projects to successful completion, working with other design consultants, contractors and clients, together as a team to help ensure quality results, on time and on budget.
