Benefits of membership:
- Inclusion in our Weekly Event Guide and our Members Whatsapp Group.
- Website Listing: We offer your business a dedicated listing on our website.
- Retail opportunities: We provide opportunities for our members to sell their products in all our offices and online. We provide an additional retail platform for local crafters and sell their products in our offices.
- Social Media Support: We constantly strive to increase our social media reach and engagement. We will share your information to this audience but also need you to help us to see your social media posts by tagging us as with different algorithms we do not always see all members posts to share.
- Marketing Support: We offer our members a range of marketing support from advertising and promotion of businesses in both our tourist offices which in 2025 had a footfall of nearly 17,000, phone calls and emails and our online presence.
- Administration support: We provide photocopying and printing services to all our members.
- Networking Events: We coordinate annual local networking events.
Additionally, we continue to work closely with Mayo County Council, SWMD, Mayo North East, and MSLETB. We actively represent Achill and its businesses at key trade shows such as Holiday World in Belfast and Dublin, and internationally in Cologne, Germany. Our role as your spokesperson includes handling media inquiries and providing valuable content to journalists and media groups.
Achill Tourism also represents the interests of the island and its businesses through partnerships with Fáilte Ireland, Údarás na Gaeltachta, and South West Mayo Development, among others. We co-chair the Clew Bay Tourism Network and operate three public information offices to serve both residents and visitors.
