Kathleen Kilbane: The ‘Little Saint’ of Achill Island by Victor Kennedy & Allan Worthy, Edited by Dominic Kennedy

Published in 2017 on a not-for-profit basis, this 116-page paperback book contains the findings of research into the lives of both Kathleen Kilbane and Bro Conway. Brother Anselm Conway met orphaned Kathleen Kilbane in a TB santorium in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo, in the 1940s and wrote ‘No More Tears in My Eyes’, a moving account of the last fifteen months of Kathleen’s life.

This new book, which is hoped to be part of an ongoing project to uncover and document the lives of Kathleen and Bro Anselm, includes recently discovered facts and documents along with accounts of how Kathleen continues to influence people’s lives today.
