Cycling Club
Achill Wheelers Cycling Club is a leisure cycling club. Everyone is welcome to join us on our cycles, usually on a Sunday morning (sometimes Saturday). Follow us on our facebook page for cycle times and upcoming events.
2022 Tour de Achill – the annual Tour de Achill cycling event takes place on Saturday 3rd September 2022:
Three routes on the Wild Atlantic Way. 36k, 65k and 110k. Spectacular scenery on all routes. 36k is fairly flat, the 65k will challenge you and the 110k will really test you, and that’s when the weather is good. As we are on the West coast, we usually have a sea breeze from the Atlantic, so be prepared.
