15th – 19th April: Easter Activity Camp
Achill Outdoor Education Centre hosts an Easter activity camp for children aged 7 years and upwards. Surfing, Kayaking, Canoeing, games and lots more. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
21st April: Easter Sunday
Enjoy a long weekend in Achill this Easter. Good Friday is 19th April, Easter Monday (a Bank Holiday) is 22nd April.
22nd April: (Easter Monday) Achill EXPO
Local businesses, organisations and community groups showcase their work. Venue: Colaiste Acla, Dooega. 12 noon – 4pm. More Details
26th April: Currane Reunion Disco
Over 18s reunion disco in glor na dtonn with DJ Sean Molloy.
3rd – 6th May: To The Island Festival
Inaugural ‘To The Island’ festival of music and comedy at multiple venues and integrated with local landmarks, history and culture. More Details.
3rd – 5th May: Heinrich Boll Memorial Weekend

The annual Scoil Acla summer school is hugely popular, offering tuition in traditional music to students of all levels as well as writer’s workshops, a painters school, readings, exhibitions, concerts and more.
