Registration for the 2025 Achill Half Marathon & 10K, which will be the 20th anniversary of the half marathon event, opened on 1st November. UPDATE: due to phenomenal demand, this event is now fully sold out.
The event takes place on Saturday 5th July 2025, starting and finishing in Keel. The half marathon courses includes a number of challenging inclines as it progresses to the crossroads at Bunnacurry, down to the Valley crossroads, and back towards Keel via Dugort and Slievemore. The exact routes for both runs are available as maps on achillmarathon.com.
For the 2024 event, places were filled by February. There is a strict limit on numbers for safety and operational reasons, as well as the comfort of participants, so please don’t delay in getting your registration in. As this will be the 20th anniversary of the Achill Half Marathon, we anticipate increased demand for places – early registration is strongly advised.
