The organisers want this to be an uplifting occasion after what has been unprecedented times.

The welfare of the runners and volunteers remain a priority for the Achill Half Marathon Operations Team. The recent COVID 19 emergency is presenting challenges for all involved.

The team has now made to the decision to trigger the event contingency plan, on foot of the timetable announced under the Coronavirus COVID 19 National Program on May 2nd, 2020.

The Achill Half Marathon will now take place on September 12th, 2020.

If you are a registered runner for the postponed July event, the team has emailed you with more comprehensive information as to your next steps. (Please check sub email folders). If you didn’t receive an email please contact us at
